Inclement Weather Procedures

In the event of inclement weather, including snow, ice, and flooding, the following outlines the Noteable Progressions Music Therapy Services cancellation procedures.

Since we serve clients from multiple counties both in our clinic and throughout the community, each weather event will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If your therapist will not be seeing clients due to inclement weather, you will receive a phone call notifying you of the cancellation as soon as the decision is made. If you need to cancel the session due to inclement weather, please notify your therapist immediately and no less than three (3) hours before your scheduled session by calling 240.394.9399. During that phone call, please schedule a make-up session. If you do not notify your therapist in a timely manner, you will be charged per our regular Attendance Policy.

We do not base our cancellations on the decisions of area school systems, so please do not assume that your session is automatically cancelled if school was delayed, dismissed early, or closed.
